Motorola Motosurf A3100

The form is similar to the iPhone MOTOSURF Motorola A3100 makes it so convenient handheld. And as a smartphone products that use touch screens as a means of input, this MOTOSURF A3100 is quite reliable and can be used as an alternative. Unfortunately the screen resolution was not too impressive.

This smartphone body is made of brushed metal alloy and plastic and is very similar to the design of the iPhone though a little more oval than Apple's flagship product. Motorola did not provide most of the keypad and controls must be done through the LCD screen 2.8 inch wide. What is interesting is the trackball which is right in the middle of the call and end buttons. Although the idea is hardly original, but the alternative is quite interesting input.

Overall, the touch screen mounted here quite responsive but Nokia still provides the stylus as an alternative. Trackball was actually not too many functions, but remember that not everyone who bought a smartphone with a touchscreen is completely familiar with modern features, perhaps the idea of a trackball assembly is quite acceptable.

Menu interface is not too complicated as the operating system Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional is installed as well as responsiveness. Unfortunately the LCD screen resolution is only about 240 x 320 pixels only. Worse yet the screen viewing angle is also quite narrow. But considering it's only a smartphone, it does not seem to be too powerful unless you like watching a video together from the 2.8-inch wide screen.

Another weakness of this is MOTOSURF A3100 when used for messaging purposes. Even though Motorola has provided a keyboard on the screen with a large enough size, but still this keyboard feels less responsive. This problem is solved when using the stylus. It could be the reason Motorola is also included stylus here.

Common features of smartphones such as document viewer, PDF reader, 3-megapixel camera, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi and of course the obvious ability to play multimedia MOTOSURF is connected to the A3100. Even the audio jack 3.5 mm size is usually not included other producers have also been released on the product at a price of U.S. $ 700 million or about Rp7 this. Good Gear Guide did not hesitate to give recommendations for this one product.
