LG Cookie KP500

If you want a phone that carries touch screen features at an affordable price, could be the choice was limited. One in this category is the LG KP500 or more popularly known as LG Cookie this.

At first glance, these cookies look very similar to the LG Renoir better than the screen size and design of the existing row of buttons at the bottom. Even from the side of the interface is different, the two phones in this class have similarities. This is quite a relief because the reduction in compensation feature was the price decline to make the interface and the physical appearance of this phone so bad.

One of the compromises that must be proved is the decline in the quality of the fabric casing. In contrast to Renoir that feels solid, the chassis used this cookie was a little vulnerable because plastics are less robust. Fortunately, this casing is made of textured rubber-like, thereby reducing the risk of slip when gripped.

Although mobile phone interface which also has been equipped with an accelerometer is classified as very friendly but that does not mean he did not have a weakness. One is quite obvious is the size of the virtual keyboard is too small, so a bit difficult when operated without a stylus.

This virtual input devices may change the format when the phone is in a different position. In the vertical position, then the show is the line number as in the phone's keypad when the phone while horizontally positioned so that appears is the QWERTY keyboard format. Unfortunately, in any position, the size of each button was too small to be called convenient to use.

The reduction apparently also occur in this phone innards. At least you can only access the 2G (GPRS / EDGE) only on the phone that works on GSM networks quad-band. So if you're looking for the phone with 3G network support, it is not clear cookies right choice for you.

Camera feature not too impressive. Despite using a 3-megapixel camera, but Sony Ericsson did not install the lights flash on this phone. So certainly performance in low lighting conditions going not too good. But the most disturbing fact is that the camera view window does not appear to meet the entire screen. Finished, the remaining space used to put some icons so was too narrow.

In short, although given the advantages of the touch screen, but this phone also has some shortcomings that make it not so ideal. But of course it does not matter if the touch screen is the one feature that you want. However, Trusted Reviews is still providing value for 8 of the 10 products sold at a price of U.S. $ 250 or approximately Rp 2.750.000 this.
